Overview

The Brief:

 

The Producer plans and implements the production of TV and Radio commercials upon client approval of storyboards, scenarios or scripts. Responsible for the management of budget, and schedule. Responsible for meeting the needs and expectations of the client as well as the creative and account departments.
 

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ability to manage the production including planning, shooting, writing and craft editing/post production
  • Demonstrated ability to and basic understanding of managing talent including Union, celebrity and testimonials
  • Be passionate about delivering the best creative, but find ways of producing it that it does not jeopardize schedule and budget
  • Partner with Executive Producer, LMDA, creative, account, research and legal staffs from inception of ideas through completion of production
  • Produce television and radio commercials, contribute ideas for digital content elements
  • Editing features, EPKs, BTS elements, social/digital media, among other Always-On content
  • Evaluates, solicits bids from, and negotiates with production companies judged to be best qualified to handle the particular projects at hand
  • Submits cost estimates to client for approval
  • Directs the logistical flow of production through pre-production meetings, casting, shooting, recording, editing, music production, color correction and final client approval
  • Manages the approved budget through all phases of production
  • Maintain and support all company standards as specified within the Quality Management System
  • Supports/facilitates the mandatory adherence to applicable client and industry production requirements, processes and procedures
  • May include other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

We’d love if it you have:

  • A college degree or commensurate experience required
  • Three to five years of proven experience with commercial production, or related fied
  • Strong project and vendor management experience
  • Excellent organization, time and self-management skills
  • Detail-orientated, with excellent follow though skills
  • Strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure
