The Brief
This Media Manger is responsible for the tactical day-to-day management of integrated media campaigns. You are responsible for developing, implementing, evaluating, and advising on client campaigns.


  • Active participation in media planning discussions regarding trafficking strategies and related operational issues
  • Develops media plans and buy authorizations, then executes or develops client’s media criteria for other buyers
  • Presents media plans to media director, account services, and/or client for approval and adjusts as necessary
  • Negotiates and purchases digital media buys, and other mediums such as TV, radio, newspapers, outdoor and magazines for all accounts within an assigned group of markets
  • Negotiates all rates, special placement and added value by medium for all markets.
  • Manages and traffics campaigns in Ad server tools such as DoubleClick(DCM)
  • Oversees media tracking and analytics set up and implementation
  • QA ads to ensure they meet site specs and ad server requirements
  • Generate, QA, and troubleshoot implementation of conversion tags
  • Troubleshoot ad or tag issues with site or ad vendor partners; set up 3rd party tags in DCM (DoubleClick)
  • Resolves tracking and reporting discrepancies
  • Tracks media expenditures to ensure agency and client budget compliance; collaborates with clients and media team members to resolve media billing issues
  • Researches and maintains record of trends, innovations and changes that affect media buying
  • Manages and is accountable for billing reconciliation and reporting
  • Manages campaign reporting utilizing analytical and proprietary tools; provides proactive daily analysis and campaign optimization 


We’d love if it you:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with 1 to 4 years of experience in Media Operations, Digital Ad Ops and/or Digital trafficking
  • Extensive trafficking experience with DoubleClick, preferred
  • Understanding of rich media, dynamic creative, mobile and video ads units
  • Team player who enjoys working in a collaborative and open environment
  • Highly motivated and full of initiative
  • Methodical, well-organized, and detail-oriented
  • Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Strong research & digital analytics background.
  • Experience managing accounts with minimal supervision. Ability to handle pressure of multiple deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (you live in Excel), word processing, database software, accounting software, media software (i.e.: CORE, IMS)
