Overview

The Brief       
Y&R is seeking a mid-level Integrated Project Manager for our New York office to work on our Business & Technology Practice. This position handles project management of marketing communications in various integrated channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate and informed scopes of work including schedules and budgets, using the correct tools (i.e. Microsoft Project, Excel) and with regard to client and agency needs/expectations
  • Design, develop, and manage methodology and process throughout the project
  • Proactively monitor project progress against key milestones.
  • Provide regular status reports including hours utilized and financial status for projects
  • Liaise with outside agencies and vendors to ensure seamless integration and delivery
  • Guide teams on mitigating risks on projects
  • Manage project schedule and budget and ensure project progress from conception to completion including change management
  • Partner with internal clients in a positive, professional, and constructive way
  • Collaborate with team leaders to ensure client expectations are managed with regard to scope and progress in schedule and budget
  • Enforce quality control processes in each project
  • Set clear expectations for tasks and deliverables, communicating clearly to team and providing proper materials/documentation when necessary

 

Qualifications

We’d love it if you:

  • The ideal candidate will have an understanding of TV, DirectTV, Digital,  and Social Media.
  •  3+ years of project management experience preferably in an advertising agency.
  • Experience with MS Project
  • Intelligent with the insight and ability to see the bigger picture
  • Energy and passion for work
  • Strive to be a positive influence on peer group and cross-capability team
