  • Overview

     

    Primary responsibilities will focus on day-to-day community coordination of Y&R corporate social channels in support of the senior communications staff including Chief Communications Officer and Global Director of Communications.

    Responsibilities

    • Draft communications including, but not limited to: social copy, blog posts, communications plans, briefing documents, research, and announcements.
    • Manage and monitor editorial calendar and daily social posts. Responsible for content distribution via social management tool.
    • Help manage graphic asset production and aggregation in collaboration with design team.
    • Execute daily/weekly audience building and engagement strategies across all social channels.
    • Monitor paid ad campaigns and identify trending conversation opportunities as they emerge.
    • Support traffic reporting and analysis across owned channels.
    • Publish (and draft as needed) key news and information on YR.com blog.
    • Ensure any corporate messaging drafted is consistent, contains accurate information and is aligned with Y&R brand voice.
    • Monitor press coverage and company news on a daily basis for Y&R.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

     

    • One year’s prior work experience related to social content development and community management. 
    • Strong and effective communicator.
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong graphic sensibility and skills.
    • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism and judgement. Project management experience a plus.
    • Strong initiative to ideate and implement solutions that meet strategic goals.
    • Highly collaborative style, demonstrated teamwork skills and ability to coordinate efforts of a diverse and creative team.
    • Resourceful problem solver and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
    • High energy, maturity and enthusiasm for growing a career in advertising communications.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Advertising or related field.
    • Prior experience working in an advertising agency environment a plus.
