  • Overview

    This person must be passionate and fluent in social media marketing solutions and value a collaborative environment. He/She will assume a key role in the refinement of that social evolution.


    • Develop and support social marketing strategies that deliver on performance results and client business objectives
    • Has an analytical approach and in-depth knowledge of both traditional and interactive research resources
    • Has a working knowledge of analytic tools and can use them to evaluate performance metrics
    • Working knowledge of social influencer's strategies and executional experience
    • Understands ROI and can provide the client with a basis for measurement of the digital activities
    • Is passionate and articulate and can craft a compelling case/recommendation and present it to a client
    • Educate client and internal teams on social and marketing channel value, best practices and ongoing evolution implications
    • Support client with emphasis on social (and mobile) marketing opportunities
    • Work with activation teams (TV, Audio, Print, OOH, Digital, Sports and Entertainment) to socialize all media; must have knowledge of how all media can be enhanced by social amplification
    • Social audience targeting experience: evaluation and execution
    • Deliver agency social POVs
    • Lead the client with a vision for how social media should evolve
    • Maintain knowledge of key social media tools, best practices and emerging trends, including:
      • Platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
      • Management tools (Vitrue, Buddy Media, etc.)
      • Digital monitoring (Visible Technologies, Radian6, etc.)
      • Social media activation (paid, earned and owned)
      • Social media measurement/analytics
    • Develop/Maintain knowledge of mobile landscape, marketing tactics and trends

    Required Skills

    • Solid understanding of media integration as it relates to social media programs
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Fortitude to stay calm under pressure
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize
    • PR integration experience

    Required Experience

    • 5 plus years of experience in a digital marketing environment
    • Deep social media expertise with experience in driving social media strategy and executing social media programs
    • Specific hands-on experience with social and mobile marketing
