  • Overview

    The Brief:


    You would be responsible for fully immersing yourself in the clients’ business, products, consumers and competition but then identifying what the bigger opportunities are coming out of this knowledge.


    Essential Duties:

    • Run day-to-day business (primary contact); possess and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the clients business
    • Seek, nurture, contribute to and help sell big ideas – out of box thinker
    • Be a champion of the work
    • Identify business building ideas and makes them happen
    • Go beyond project minimums, anticipate and exceed clients’ expectations
    • Have the potential to be a key player in Y&R’s future
    • Protect and nurture brand voice across touch points
    • Be able to write and present an inspiring brand creative brief
    • Proactively seek external training opportunities
    • Have strong strategic and analytical thinking skills
    • Continually build digital and social media landscape
    • Be a team motivator and morale builder
    • Demonstrate leadership, have a presence in internal and external meetings
    • Resolve internal and external conflicts
    • Be respected and valued by partners in other disciplines
    • Be well versed and experienced in production on-site
    • Have a strategic aptitude for solving business and brand challenges
    • Have a basic understanding of manpower and resource management
    • Be accountable for timely, thorough and effective performance reviews
    • Supervise and coach your team’s AE and AAE
    • Be prepared for other tasks as assigned


    Required Experience:

    • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising or related field, preferred
    • Have approximately 6-8 years of advertising/marketing experience with at least 2 years of managerial experience
    • Are able to build good rapport and positively influence the team and clients
    • Demonstrate strategic expertise
    • Can distinguish between good and great work
    • Are articulate and poised
    • Are well-respected by colleagues and clients
    • Are comfortable in social media and the digital landscape
