  • Overview

    The Brief:

    As the Director, Project Management, you will be responsible for the overall on-time and on-budget completion of deliverables across large multimillion-dollar accounts. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive and will bring demonstrated experience and the ability to partner, build and maintain internal team and client relationships.


    Project Management   


    • Oversee client relationship(s) with responsibility for project workflow, account finances, resourcing, prioritization of deliverables and ensuring the quality of work meets agency standards
    • Manage all financial tracking, invoicing, reporting, forecasting and monitoring of risk when appropriate
    • Create or optimize necessary workflows and internal communications across the client accounts for maximum efficiency, productivity and effectiveness
    • Partner with department head to define, roll out and enforce ways of working for the delivery of projects
    • Ensure that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and communicated to all identified stakeholders and resources on both a project and program level; help refine roles and responsibilities to achieve clear and effective organizational structure
    • Ensure that resources are booked through the established resource management process
    • Develop, lead, train and mentor the careers of direct reports, guide them on their projects and positively develop their professional skills and review their work product

    Financial Management


    • Exemplify fiscal responsibility by adhering to agency and client expense management and staffing policies and procedures
    • Forecast resource utilization each month for all direct reports, flagging when there is capacity or a need for resource support
    • Partner with the Account and Finance Leadership to ensure proper pricing strategies and implementation
    • Own the scope of assigned production work, ensuring that all the work that has been scoped and budgeted can be delivered

    Account Management

    • Support and guide day-to-day client business operations for developing and executing complex marketing programs in partnership with internal and external team members
    • Provide support with the production of new business pitch materials (scope of work, staff plans, timelines) and, when required, present in new business presentations
    • Other duties as assigned


    We’d love it if you:

    • Have a bachelor’s degree; PMP or similar certification strongly preferred
    • Have 10 or more years of experience in a creative and/or interactive agency environment with an emphasis in project management or operations preferred
    • Have two (2) or more years of supervisory experience
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to interact with senior-level clients and the agency’s executive team
    • Exceptional project and time management skills, and the flexibility to manage multiple priorities
    • Superior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written and listening)
    • Proven experience managing multimillion-dollar accounts
    • Experience setting up, documenting and executing a process
    • Demonstrated ability in collaborating and effectively working with others to drive decisions and meet common, clearly defined goals and apply expertise appropriately
    • Excellent strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong follow-through and attention to detail
    • Proven track record in building strong relationships with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and with remote teams
    • Strong demonstration of negotiation and conflict management skills
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
