    The Brief: 

     

    As an Account Director (Social), you would provide business and consumer insight through strong collaboration with senior account management, strategic and creative teams, while partnering with your internal account management team.  You will partner with senior leadership to help drive revenue and ensure efficient delivery of the promised scope. 

     

     

    Responsibilities

     

     

    • Set direction and vision for the brand while having a passion and instinct for big ideas 
    • Embody and reflect our Y&R agency culture 
    • Be the champion of the work 
    • Maintain knowledge of all performance measures and financial figures 
    • Embrace and direct the integrated communication strategy 
    • Set a positive tone for your team and push yourself beyond the day-to-day 
    • Be committed to the highest standards for all agency work 
    • Be recognized as an effective brand steward and strategist 
    • Seek opportunities to advance the client relationship and build Y&R agency business 
    • Demonstrate a robust understanding of the roles and metrics of other communication channels and can lead integrated efforts 
    • Inspire Agency and Client confidence and be an effective leader of client relationships 
    • Proactively address future Client and Agency problems and opportunities; don’t shy away from hard conversations 
    • Effectively sell great work (and keep it sold) 
    • Identify potential talent and develop your account team 
    • Can identify and leverage new agency revenue opportunities for organic growth 
    • Develop team talent and skill set; mentor staff and develop career path for your team 
    • Be prepared for other tasks you may be assigned  

     

     

    Qualifications

    We’d love if it you: 

     

    • Have approximately 9-11 years of advertising/marketing experience with at least 6 years of managerial experience 
    • Experience working across a variety of fast paced, complex organizations 
    • Deep knowledge across digital, including programmatic and social 
    • Inspire confidence 
    • Exude excellent judgment 
    • Are well respected by colleagues and client partners 
    • Have proven client and team leadership abilities 
    • Consider yourself a digital native 
    • Are an agency leader who inspires internal and external partners
