    Located in the heart of King West, our rapidly growing Toronto office is seeking an ambitious, results-driven Data & Analytics Manager. At Wunderman, the Data & Analytics Manager is a key member of the team, rooted firmly in multiple projects across the digital landscape. He/she is able to intimately understand a client’s business, and translate specific project objectives into actionable data & analytics plans.  A self-starter, they have the ability to drive the project from managing data sources through to assets and site tagging, report template development and data visualization dashboard design (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) through to analyzing email and content campaign and site traffic activity via various analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Saleforce Marketing Cloud).

     

    Operating under both a ‘think’ and ‘do’ attitude, this individual is able to establish the big picture, and deliver and present the detailed findings in smart, compelling presentation decks (e.g. PowerPoint, Keynote) to help agency and client teams understand in-market performance of various marketing activities. While analytically minded, they are extremely effective at translating empirical information into meaningful observations and recommendations to a host of different internal and external audiences, each with different levels of data competence. They have experience in or a passion for marketing and, specifically, marketing communications within specific brand contexts.

     

    This position will report into the SVP, Director Strategy and work side-by-side with a community of digital strategists and analysts both locally and within the agency, servicing a great client list including: IKEA, GSK, BMW, and XBOX. 

     

    DATA & ANALYTICS SPECIALTIES

    Report and Dashboard Design and Creation // Multi-Source Data Management// Web Analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) // Email Marketing Analytics (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) // Insights Development

    Responsibilities

    • Design, build and manage data templates and reports (from advanced Excel to Tableau/Power BI) in conjunction with our clients’ customer and prospect datasets, including the collection and reporting of data from a variety of CRM and web-based marketing initiatives.
    • Analyze reported data with a goal of uncovering the root causes of outcomes to drive learnings and optimizations.
    • With a hands-on approach, initiate and manage data related activities on a selection of projects that you will own. Contribute key information for the accurate preparation of estimates and manage to provided timelines and schedules ensuring error-free execution within agreed upon budgets.
    • Ability to commute to work daily in downtown Toronto location.

    Qualifications

    • 7-10+ years of experience working in an agency/marketing environment; 6+ years immersed in the digital space
    • Proven experience with Salesforce and Adobe Marketing Clouds, Google Analytics, Omniture/Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Netbase
    • Excellent and persuasive communication skills; able to clearly articulate and sell your work in relatable and convincing ways.
    • Experience with PowerPoint, Keynote and Microsoft Office; able to author, design and deliver findings.
    • Experienced and confident in working independently on various data related projects using the above tools.
    • Undergraduate degree in a marketing science or related field, preferred.
    • Able to regularly switch gears from brand-to-brand and partner with other team members/departments to meet deadlines.
