  • Overview

    The Brief:


    We're looking for an Account Supervisor (Program Management) to join our Washington, D.C. office. This role provides high level, one-to-one support across business initiatives, meetings and events involving senior executives, clients, other WPP and Non-WPP companies supporting a government client account to ensure the smooth running of the business. 


    This role will execute special projects to support business goals and key initiatives for and as defined by the General Manager. Key activities include: management of special initiatives, planning and execution of large-scale meetings and workshops, communications and connecting teams across companies and offices.



    Key Areas of Involvement:

    • Client/agency/partner agency meetings
    • Management Reporting to VMLY&R
    • Internal and external communications
    • Network collaboration
    • Integration across work orders/scopes


    We’d love if it you:


    • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising or related field, preferred
    • Have a minimum of five years of Project Management experience with client facing capability or Account Management in a marketing communications agency.
    • Excellent communication skills a must (written and verbal)
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Proactivity: an ability to go beyond the brief.
    • Disciplined and organized: able to juggle priorities and multi-task. To work, unflustered, to tight deadlines and unforeseen requirements.
    • Self-reliant and motivated: this individual must be able to work alone or as part of virtual teams, as well as in conventional groups.
    • Confidentiality and diplomacy: given the sensitivity of disclosed materials and conversations, these are mandatory skills.
    • Delegation: effective delegation to individuals across the agency and beyond, acknowledging that these people have to balance your requests with their own full-time jobs.
